Skiing or surfing Skiing time in the northern hemisphere. There are lots of resorts and places to ski tagged at Tagzania, but not all of them show snow in the satellite views. If you prefer warmer holidays, turn to the southern hemisphere. Look at surfing spots in South Africa, for instance. Beautiful waves are visible in many of those places, as here:
